Today we were up & off to Las Vegas. Grandma & Grandpa Gray were flying in around 8pm and we thought we'd head up early & take in some sights. On the way, we pulled over to get our lunch out of the cooler and this is what David found on the side of the road...
We stayed in the truck as he photographed the tarantula!
Back in Las Vegas.... we avoided the strip as much as possible!!
We stayed at the Orleans and wouldn't recommend it. It was $35/night, which was about the only thing it had going for it!
One cool thing we did before Grandma & Grandpa arrived was go to the Shark Reef Aquarium - It was very hard to photograph as it was quite dark in some places, but it was amazing to get that close to sharks!
They had a fantastic exhibit of jellyfish!
There were many different kinds of creatures to view, we waited awhile, but did finally see the sea turtle!!(didn't get a photo though)
After heading to Costco for dinner, we were off to the airport - so wonderful to have Grandma & Grandpa here!!
