Today we took our time getting ready. It is nice to have some extra time in the morning, enjoy breakfast by the pool and leisurely get our gear together & head to the park. We went to Disneyland this morning and went to Astro Blasters. From there we hit a number of rides: pirates, Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, King Arthur's Carrousel, Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.... we then ventured out of the park for some ice cream, frapps and snacks. After feeling a bit rejuvenated, we went to California Adventure Park to grab a ride on Toy Story Mania before the park closed - we managed to squeak on twice! Once California closed, we then went back to Disneyland to do a few more rides before closing.
Legs tired, and bodies weary we dragged ourselves back to the hotel - we had a fantastic day! David picked up some yummy onion loaf at Toni Roma's (conveniently located RIGHT BESIDE our hotel) before we all went to bed.
Sarah's new hat! :)
Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters - we're finally getting this game figured out and Daddy is now racking up the points!
Our boat ride into the mouth of a whale as we enter into Storyland.
It's all the classic Disney stories.... in miniture land! Very cute.
This is Cinderella's castle. There's even the pumpkin carriage coming down the hillside!
All the plants and trees are real.
All the blooming flowers are beautiful.
Joshua's FAVORITE Disneyland treat! Cotton Candy!
Megan's smiling even though she's on a raft and sitting on a container of Dynamite!
Off to explore Davy Crocket's Island.
Checking out the treehouse.
First time was the big pumpkin, second time the enormous Christmas tree, this time...
a huge envelope!
Late afternoon Sarah was EXHAUSTED....
...it's amazing how a Mocha Frapp perked her up! :)
Outside of Pixie Hollow.
King Arthur's Carousel
I even managed to get up on a horse!
A great day at Disneyland - g'night!
Good to see you in these pictures Jennifer. These pictures bring back so many fun memories for Grandpa and I. We were just like little kids when we were there. It really makes us want to go back.
