Day 32 - Officially a month today!

We've been on our adventure officially one month today! It feels like so long ago when we were strolling along the beach in Lincoln City and even our hike through Yosemite Park..... I'm so glad it feels like that as we want to savour every moment!
Last night was very exciting as we booked our hotel & tickets for Disneyland! The kids are "REALLY" excited that the day has FINALLY arrived to head to the Park! We will pull out tomorrow morning & spend next week in Anaheim. The kids have worked very hard at school these past few weeks and will now enjoy some much deserved time "off". :)
Today we checked out the library (Megan was very excited about this), but need to go back with the proper paperwork before we can check out books - I'm sure that will be on top of her priority list after Disneyland! We were even able to catch the tail end of the Parade that was going on & see a marching band go by (I didn't have my little camera with me, so no photo). David fired up the BBQ for lunch and with the weather still amazing this week (37 today) they are enjoying the pool! This gave me a quiet house to get packed up for tomorrow... and air conditioning :)
After an afternoon of diving & playing (and a Skype call from C&E!!!) we (and by that I mean DAVE) BBQ'd again and enjoyed dinner in the Tiki Bar with the misters going to keep us cool. How blessed are we!!
It's like Christmas Eve here as we tucked the kids into bed... they are so excited & it is so fun to watch them. They helped make lists, pack & clean up tonight as they all set out their things to take. I'm sure they will rise earlier than normal and be anxious to get going!!
We're planning on heading out towards Joshua Tree National Park & through Palm Springs to see some new sights. We'll make a trip to Costco for food/snacks for the week and then get to the hotel so we can set up for an early start to the day. :)
Where many hours have been spent the last few days!!
One of the things the kids (and adults) like to do is go under the water to watch someone jump in - it looks very cool! That's Joshua under the water ready to watch Sarah jump in!
Sarah coming out - probably for a drink & snack.
These are the favored goggles as they have the nose block as well so you can do summersaults underwater without it going up your nose!
The water-gang!
Megan has been swimming laps each day - and each day she adds a lap.... she's up to 16 already!!
Sarah is always ready to party!!
